Susan E. Miller is credentialed by the International Dyslexia Association (IDA) and serves on the Accreditation Team where her work is focused on evaluating higher education teacher prep programs. She is also a board member of the New Jersey branch of IDA. Susan brings a wealth of knowledge to every client whether they are a school district in need of Structured Literacy Professional Learning, a parent seeking guidance about their child's IEP, or an individual seeking a diagnostic learning evaluation.
Susan was honored to serve as the first President of The Reading League NJ Chapter and now serves as its Past President. Her work as an Adjunct Professor at Felician University in their LDT-C program allows her to prepare the next generation of Learning Disability Consultants!
Dyslexia and Structured Literacy Expertise

With over three decades of experience and specialized credentials in the field of learning disabilities, the evaluations and tutoring services offered by Susan Miller will change your child's trajectory in school and beyond! Certified as a New Jersey LDT-C and Dyslexia Therapist, Susan began her career at the Stephen Gaynor School in Manhattan, where she received her training in Orton-Gillingham programs, including Wilson Reading, Lindamood-Bell, and Preventing Academic Failure.
Susan had the privilege of working at The Newgrange School under the leadership of Dr. Gordon Sherman, a renowned neuroscientist, where she honed her diagnostic skills and understanding of language-based learning difficulties such as Dyslexia and Dyscalculia.

Susan's article, "Reading by Hand," published in Dystinct magazine in 2021, among many other articles and presentations she has authored on the topics of Dysgraphia, Dyslexia, and Dyscalculia, helped shape the name of this private practice. The field knows with certainty that accurate and early identification influence a student's trajectory not only in school, but in life.
